Glide and Ride was established to combine mountain bike and life skills development for younger children. Our mission is to get kids off the couch, outdoors and exercising through mountain biking. Skills taught at Glide and Ride stay with our riders for life.

Glide and Ride teaches children the fundamental skills of riding a mountain bike… well. Learning these skills from our trained instructors boosts self-confidence and promotes personal growth. Kids also learn important social skills, while exercising outdoors.

Children’s Physical Skills & Abilities

Positive affirmation is a fundamental part of Glide and Ride. All our activities are designed to develop a child’s physical skills and abilities in a fun and confidence-boosting way. We coach children in in-school programs and extramural programs all over KZN

Glide & Ride – Development

Giving Back the “Glide & Ride” Way

Since starting at Mshwati School on the North Coast of KZN, on a pro bono basis, we have seen class attendance increase, with a drop in absenteeism from 300 in the first term of 2017 to 30 in the fourth term of 2017.

This has been achieved by a strict policy being put in place, children are only allowed to participate in bike riding if they have been at school for the full week. The results speak for themselves.
